Project Reveal Part II: Condo Design in Turks and Caicos
Welcome back to the second and final installment of our condo design project reveal in the stunning Turks and Caicos! In part one, we took you on a tour of the main living and dining areas, showcasing our team's expertise in creating a calming space that is perfect for Airbnb guests. Today, we're excited to delve into the final two rooms of the project: the primary and guest bedrooms. From luxurious linens to unique accent pieces, we can't wait to show you how we transformed these spaces into peaceful retreats that our clients fell in love with. Let's dive in!
The Guest Bedroom
To create this beach-inspired guest bedroom we introduced a muted coastal colour palette to inspire relaxation. With just a few aesthetic updates and some fresh styling, we were able to transform a drab space into an inviting coastal escape. Knowing that lighting would be crucial in creating a sense of spaciousness and airiness, we had to get creative with the room's single small window. Our solution? Flanking the bed with mirrors above each nightstand. Not only did this add a unique touch to the room with its wicker frame, but it also bounced light around the space and created a brighter, more open feel. With strategically placed mirrors, you can create a more expansive look and feel, which in this case enhances the coastal aesthetic we were going for. We slapped a fresh coat of paint on the walls and nightstands, plus new cozy pillows and throws to develop a serene and inviting oasis that exudes beach-inspired charm. Just take a look at the before of this guest bedroom space and see for yourself the impact that a few intentional changes can make in a space. And yes, that’s the same bedframe!

PRO AIRBNB TIP:
Guests typically use nightstands to store a few personal items, so make sure that you leave some space on top for a glass of water and a phone to charge. If you have drawers, make sure they are empty or go the extra mile and keep a charging cable inside for guests to use. It may seem trivial, but these small touches go a long way in making your guests feel comfortable and add to the overall value of their stay.
The Primary Bedroom
Get ready to fall in love with our favourite room of the tour: the primary bedroom! This space went through a modest transformation, but we have to say, the impact of the changes in this room may just take your breath away.
Tucked away on the back of the condo with a balcony, the primary bedroom boasts incredible views of a lush golf course with tropical trees and the ocean beyond in the distance. It was clear to us that we had to create a design for this space that honoured the views and captured the essence of paradise.
To achieve that serene and calm feeling, we kept things simple, clean, and light. We opted for white concrete side tables that bring in a modern shape with organic texture for a cool and effortless look. And to work with those red-toned floors, we went for a rich mango wood headboard with a woven detail that adds that touch of boho our clients loved. We took a leap of faith with the warm-toned headboard, as we were originally leaning toward a light oak headboard. In the end, we are so glad we didn’t end up with the safe choice and instead went with the bold one. It ties in with the warm floors perfectly, and we're over the moon with how it all came together. This bedroom is a true oasis that captures the spirit of a luxurious beach vacation.

PRO AIRBNB TIP:
A bench at the end of a bed is such an underrated piece of furniture. Not only is a bench great as a seat when getting dressed, but guests will often use this space to prop up a travel bag or throw clothes onto. It also elevates the bed styling and is more practical than a single chair. A bedroom bench is a sure way to enhance the quality of your guest’s stay.
Well, that wraps up the second half of the tour of our stunning Turks and Caicos condo project! We hope you enjoyed the deep dive into this project and that we could provide you with some inspiration for your own vacation home.
